The time has come for me to open my blog. I wanted to do it for a while now.
One of the many goals of this blog is to fight against my impostor syndrome. I am sure many of you know what I am talking about: the feeling that you are not quite as professionally competent as the people around you are believing or are telling you.
Even if it is not exactly the same thing, it is almost the same cognitive bias as the Dunning-Kruger effect: at first, the more competent you get, the less confident you become. I personally think it occurs because when you begin to have some solid knowledge about a subject you quickly realize everything that is left to learn.
Well, that will be enough pseudo-psychology for this time.
I am not sure what this blog will become but I will try my best at writing interesting articles at a reasonable pace. But I sure hope that I will enjoy writing things and that some of you will enjoy reading them.
